Excellent!  I hope all of the 1-8th that showed up had fun.  I was not there because I had a friend of mine who is my mechanic say that he was available to work on my car, so I had to take him up on that while he was available since he is high demand.

I think between RR and 1-8th we had 10 people show up on our side, vs. about 10 on the ArmaCalypse side.  Their side showed up late, and we were early (of course).

We won the first two rounds  Very Happy  I had to leave after that, so I'm not sure if more were played.

We had good teamwork and good comms, lots of cooperation.

The new "AaS Promode" that we played is a little different than past matches.  Because one team plays defense, the other offense, the strategies have to be a little different than usual.  For example, the defensive team basically has two objectives: establish a perimeter around the zone, and secondly, remove the enemy that has penetrated the zone.  The thing I liked about this game mode was that it seemed to slow the game down to the point where team tactics could be employed at a more satisfying level, since each side could concentrate on strictly taking zones or defending zones.

In the first match, our side played offense and we managed to capture all the zones right before the time expired.

In the second match, we played defense and we managed to lose only the first zone, and we kept them from capturing it completely.

Hi Toko,

I was thinking of going with the North Rasman map in match mode.

If anyone wants, we are going to check out the map tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 10:00 PM EST / 9:00 CST / 8:00 MST / 7:00 PST in order to discuss any possible strategy that is appropriate.  Feel free to jump on the RR TS to review the map.
